Embrace will attend to the XXVIII Scientific Meeting of the Argentine Association of Geodesy and Geophysics

Next week Embrace Program, representing by its General Manager, will attend to the XXVIII Scientific Meeting of the Argentine Association of Geodesy and Geophysics, to be held in La Plata, Argentina from April 17 to 20. In this opportunity it will be presented and discussed issues related to Space Weather, relevant to the Geodesy and Geophysics community. Embrace’s contributions are scheduled to occur in two moments. The first of these is in the Plenary Session 1, on Monday, between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., in which the lecture “Research to Operation (and Operation to Research) in Space Weather” will be presented. In a second moment a Round Table will be held, on Tuesdays between 3:40 p.m. and 4:40 p.m. where the panelists will discuss the theme “Operating Space Weather: perspectives in Argentina and Latin America”. The invited panelists (alphabetical order) and the respective topics to be discussed are:

Dr. Celeste Saulo (SMN): The vision of the National Meteorological Service

Dr. Clezio Marcos De Nardin (INPE): The experience of Brazil

Dr. Conrado Varotto (CONAE): The vision of the Argentine Space Agency

Dr. Jorge Tezón (CONICET): CONICET and the national articulation
